…WITHOUT giving up any of my favorite snacks and desserts!
I could feel that my health was going backward. I had such low energy during the day. Falling asleep right after I sat on the couch. I couldn’t even go up a couple of stairs. Otherwise, the shortness of breath would almost make me pass out.
That’s not who I am. I used to be somewhat athletic!
One day, I was at a school meeting for parents and teachers at the start of the year, I ran into one of my old best friends. At first, I was super happy to see a friend I hadn’t seen in a long time. But then, she said something that hurt my feelings!
“Wow, Lisa. I didn’t recognize you. You were so much smaller back then!”
That single comment stuck with me for the rest of the day—a real eye-opener.
I got home and weighed myself. I couldn’t believe my eyes! 238!
It was then that I realized that something had to change. I was tired, puffy, and bulding out all over the place. I was a mess.
That night, as I was getting ready for bed, I decided.
I was fully expecting my Doctor to put the blame on me. To tell me that I was weak and I just needed to eat right and exercise more.
That’s what all the doctors usually say.
But wow, I was wrong.
“You need to target the root cause“, she said.
The Newest Me
I’ve been doing this Morning Hack for a while now and am beyond thrilled. I regularly find myself fitting into clothes I’ve not worn for ages.
Now, that’s FUN! But wearing new clothes and looking great is not even the best thing.
What’s most important to me is that I’ve got my energy back. I sleep well and wake up refreshed.
I have all the energy I need to get through the day.
I even started to enjoy exercise. I had so much energy to burn I had to do SOMETHING with it!
Also, my husband noticed the difference, too… if you know what I mean.
